How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

In the spirit of the New Year...

So, it's a new year, a new decade, and I'm feeling old. I had a moment, not too long ago, where I was thinking about an old game I used to play on the PSone, and I was all, "1998 was over 10 years ago??? *doom*"

But, back to the title of the entry. In the spirit of the New Year, and that yearly tradition us crazy Americans have, I have gone on a diet (the millionth of my life, I'm sure). I'm feeling positive this time (not the first time) and have high hopes that this is THE time (again, not the first time). But as anyone who has ever kicked ANY bad habit knows, you shouldn't backtalk yourself; it makes your chances of success that much smaller. So, generally speaking, I haven't been thinking about the endgame of this diet, or how long it will take or how much longer that amount of time will seem while dieting. I'm just doing it. Period. So we'll see. Maybe this WILL be the time. And if it is, even better.

I had a thought for a piece about a month ago but decided not to do it due to what happened last month. Hopefully I'll fully remember that idea soon. I have a vague sense of what it was, but you guys know what it's like when inspiration hits you. It's crystal clear, shining with perfect possibility, and begging to be done then. If you put it off... well, you guys know that too, I'm sure.

And so, hopefully I'll have something made soonish, and if it's the original idea it's Pickles-related. Yeah, such a fan art whore. I really need to come up with some original ideas. Oh wells.

For the rest of you out there on your New Year's resolution diets, best of luck. I hope it becomes more than just a New Year's thing. We'll get there.
