It's doublewide because I didn't know what I was doing ^_^. First time is always a little wrong. Well, to remedy it, I just fold it in half like the second picture. It's lovely and warm; not bad for a first try.

Huzzah for your first knitted scarf!

And yes, the first try is always wonky. Mine unintentionally turned out like a gigantic grey Dr. Who scarf, like it's more boring cousin or something, but I like it.

That's great! My first scarf was like 10 feet long.. Haha.. I didn't think and kept on going and going... And it was the most horrible color... Yours is very well done!

Double wide is fine. how many stitches did you use to a row? (I usually do 25-30.)

not bad at all... the stitches are so nice and even. I have sooooo much trouble with that.

Thank you! If you could look at the end that's rolled up in the picture at the left, you'd be able to tell that I REALLY didn't know what I was doing when I started, but you learn as you go, and things get easier.
